Following his time with Becker College, Sherry joined the staff of the United States Military Academy’s Army hockey team as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. He coordinated all recruiting efforts from initial correspondence, student and parent campus visits and the application and signing processes.

The Lansing, Mich. native was a four-year letterwinner with the University of Findlay (2001-04) and a three-time member of the CHA’s All-Academic team (2002-04). Sherry also skated for the North American Hockey League’s Springfield Jr. Blues (1998-2000).
